We are a multi-award-winning digital payments platform within the automotive industry, working with over 4,000 retailers across Europe, helping drivers pay for motoring costs, accessories, and other services through various payment options.

Bumper is a fast-growing payments scale-up, having completed our Series B funding round last year. We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, and visionary Business Development Executive to grow Bumper's client base in Spain.

Our Head Office is in Sheffield City Centre, with additional offices in London and Turkey. We have expanded further, onboarding retailers in Ireland, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands.

A bit about the role... We are seeking a Business Development Executive in Spain to promote our product, focusing on customer acquisition and new loan origination. You will develop the automotive retailer portfolio within Spain and drive payment volumes, building relationships with OEMs, retail groups, and third-party automotive systems. The role is largely remote, based in Valencia or within commuting distance, with an average of 2 days per week visiting sites.

Key responsibilities:

1. Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, engage, and qualify potential customers, build a pipeline, and create cross-selling opportunities.
2. Relationship Management: Address customer needs, nurture relationships, manage activities in HubSpot CRM, conduct account reviews, and develop case studies.
3. Customer Base Growth: Expand the customer base and increase retailer sales.
4. Collaboration & Support: Support onboarding, provide customer support, and collaborate with internal teams for aligned strategies.

Location: Valencia or within commuting distance, with travel required.

About you... We seek someone passionate about growth, with experience in sales and client management, interested in emerging products, with a degree, native Spanish speaker, and proficient in English. You should be self-motivated, target-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office, and hold a full, clean Spanish driving license.

Benefits include a competitive salary (€30,000), commission scheme (up to €37,500 OTE), car allowance (€800/month), wellbeing platform, annual retreat, generous holiday entitlement, and parental leave.
