About the Role
We are seeking a Pastry Head Chef to lead the pastry section for the 2026 season at Jumeirah Mallorca.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize and set up the pastry section, ensuring efficient dish preparation, quality control, and inventory management.
- Maintain consistent dish preparation, adhere to standard recipes, and manage food costs while minimizing waste.
- Assist across kitchen sections as needed, provide guidance and demonstrate production methods to pastry team members.
- Oversee store orders, daily inventory, proper stock rotation, and ensure food safety standards are met.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, maintain cleanliness in all areas, and contribute to new product development and production planning.
About You
- Proven experience in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment, consistently delivering high standards and exceptional quality.
- Strong leadership skills, approachable and professional, able to inspire and guide a team in a fast‑paced setting.
- Detail‑oriented and quality‑driven, maintaining precision and creativity across all pastry operations.
- Versátil and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic environment and responding effectively to seasonal ingredients, guest preferences, and operational challenges.
