The FBA Supervisor is responsible for providing accurate financial and management reporting, including Freight, Bill, Audit & Payment data analysis. This role enhances DHL's commercial position by adding value, managing risks, and fulfilling contractual obligations.The primary focus is to:
Ensure processes are in place to maintain adherence and control over the balance sheet and working capital on passthroughDrive process improvementsAct as a business partner to supported contractsCreate and develop forecasts, budgets, and month-end trading reportsAccountabilities
Act as the finance lead for the site, presenting to customers during period reviews and supporting annual budgets and forecastsDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships at finance and operational levelsManage a small team to meet service level agreements and KPIs through operational excellence and continuous improvementEnsure cost management and compliance, with proper segregation of dutiesCoordinate and compile trading results, including forecasting and period-end reporting, ensuring explainability of forecast vs. actual resultsServe as the first point of contact for all contract finance questionsChallenge and maximize EBIT & EAC performance, working with contract management to implement improvement plansEnsure compliance with statutory and DHL policies, with regular monitoring of key areasFinancial monitoring of operational and transport services provided on an open-book basis to the customerRequirements
People management experienceProficiency in EnglishExcellent communication skills at all levelsAttention to detail and high-level overview capabilitiesProven ability to build relationships outside the finance functionExperience in business partnering within a sector environmentPart-qualified or qualified accountantFor more information about
