We’re currently looking for an FPGA Developer to join us in creating next-generation embedded systems. In this role, you’ll design and implement advanced digital solutions using technologies like MIPI data acquisition, Ethernet TSN, and PTP synchronization.
Your profile:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
* Solid experience with FPGA development tools (preferably Xilinx and Microchip ( Flash-based)
* Proficiency in digital design methodologies, logic design, and VHDL or Verilog programming
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently, proactively managing project tasks and timelines
* Excellent team player with strong communication skills
* English: B2. Other languages such as German and Spanish will be a plus.
Nice to have:
* Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Tcl)
* Familiarity with modern verification frameworks like VUnit
* Prior experience in automotive or industrial embedded systems
Your tasks:
* Design, implement, and verify FPGA architectures using Xilinx and Microchip (Flash-based) technologies
* Develop digital logic designs and optimize FPGA performance and resource utilization
* Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams for system integration and on-target testing
* Perform comprehensive simulations and validation through VHDL/Verilog test benches and modern verification methods (e.g., VUnit)
* Provide technical assessments and recommendations for make-or-buy decisions concerning IP modules
* Maintain detailed technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows (CI/CD)
