For our Quality Control team in Lelystad (onsite in the Netherlands), we’re looking for a Quality Team Leader with a passion for garments to co-lead a team of 10 talented specialists alongside another experienced leader.
Together, you’ll drive excellence and set new standards in garment quality.
As a Garment Quality Team Leader, you ensure that all garment quality standards of our global fashion client are consistently met. You will coordinate daily activities, support your team, and keep direct continuous communication with the buyers and quality team located at the brand’s headquarters.
Co-lead a team of approximately 10 Quality Controllers together with another team leader
Plan, coordinate, and follow up on daily quality activities and workload
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and skill development
Quality Control & Technical Tasks
Oversee and participate in garment checks, including inspection of reworks (ironing, steaming)
Validate tests and ensure all products meet the brand’s quality standards before distribution
Evaluate and select optimal ironing and finishing methods, reporting quality incidents
Manage quality incidents and coordinate with the Client quality/buying team to resolve issues
Provide training on new finishes, quality standards, and updated parameters
Control incoming goods using internal tools and digital applications
Maintain tight, structured communication with the buyers and quality teams at HQ
Report issues, follow up on incidents, and align on quality expectations and improvement
Act as the main point of contact for technical quality discussions and daily updates
Strong professional background in garment quality control, garment construction, and finishing
Knowledge of industrial ironing processes, garment treatments, and textile handling is desirable although training is provided
Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Availability of working in shifts, Monday to Friday
