Description of the position
As a Business Analyst for the Finance Transformation team you will work cross‐functionally on a variety of short‐term and strategic projects. You will supply the project team and stakeholders with functional expertise and support the research, design, build, test and operate phases of the outcome.
Your IMPACT
Listen to stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their needs and priorities
Perform functional research and design to determine possible solutions
Construct ad‐hoc tests and analyses on data for Proof of Concepts
Perform functional testing and user acceptance testing
Conduct data discovery and profiling for fit and gap analysis
Support data migrations in systems transformations
Tenaciously solve problems and make decisions under uncertainty
Actively contribute to team ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‐up, sprint review and retrospectives
Demonstrate strong ownership in understanding business needs and driving valuable outcomes
Communicate outcomes to stakeholders to ensure understanding of progress and potential roadblocks during sprint reviews, UATs and regular communication
Your Profile
University degree in Finance, Economics, IT related or equivalent
7+ years of business analysis, project management and/or finance experience
2+ years of hands‐on experience with BI class tools, relational databases (preferably Databricks) and data analysis
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Very comfortable writing SQL queries
Experience with Python or other programming languages, for writing automations or using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy
Familiar with AI concepts and ability to leverage those tools in daily work
Passionate about learning everyday
Effectively manages expectations and influences stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with ability to approach challenges with curiosity and creativity using modern tools and techniques
Self‐motivated and capable of working independently
Offers alternative approaches to the business; influencing decision‐making
Fluent in English
Preferred qualifications
Experience with planning solutions like TM1, Anaplan, CCH Tagetik, OneStream, or Hyperion
Professional Business Analysis certification, Project Management certification
Agile methodology familiarity, certification welcomed
