Amazon MGM Studios seeks a Senior Sales Manager, Theatrical Distribution for

Spain to execute sales and distribution strategies for all local theatrical releases. This role implements strategic plans, manages exhibitor relationships,
\n
coordinates release scheduling, provides business intelligence reporting, and leads the sales team located in Spain.
\n
The Sales
\n
Manager drives local sales operations to optimize box office performance and profitability for each title,
\n
while executing local market strategies aligned with integral studio objectives.
\n
This position reports to the Head of Spain Theatrical Distribution. Key job responsibilities
\n
- Develop and execute local sales strategies across theatrical releases that align with commercial objectives
- Build and maintain strong exhibitor relationships to support release performance in Spain
- Manage weekly session planning in Spain. Negotiate with local exhibitors to secure optimal terms and holdovers to maximize screen count in Spain
- Own daily box office monitoring and reporting systems for Amazon MGM bookings
- Analyze local market trends, audience behavior, and box office performance
- Oversee forecasting, admissions targets, and revenue modeling for all titles in Spain
- Support local release date planning that balances local conditions with studio objectives
- Maintain market release schedule and communicate competitive film movements
- Present release plans to exhibition clients and coordinate promotional activities in Spain
- Collect and analyze local box office data to inform tactical decisions
- Manage the planning, production, classification, and delivery of trailers and promotional assets
- Manage KDM operations and technical delivery standards across exhibition partners
- Direct satellite and HD shipping control operations
- Oversee receivables monitoring and booking/gross adjustments in internal systems
- Ensure operational excellence across all distribution technology platforms
- Report film performance

Basic Qualifications
\n
- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
- Depth of experience in theatrical distribution or entertainment sales
- Demonstrated ability to maintain exhibitor relationships and negotiate effectively
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI,
\n
Comscore, Numero, Showtimes)
\n
- Strong analytical expertise and strategic thinking skills Preferred

Qualifications

- Experience leading and mentoring a sales team
- Knowledge of the Spain theatrical exhibition landscape
- Experience with film performance forecasting and revenue modeling
- Experience working with international teams
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt to change

- Understanding of theatrical windows and circuit development strategies
