In this role you will support software-based projects across EMEA, partnering with sales, project management, and engineering teams from pre-sales to deployment. You will help define the technical scope of software solutions like EPMS, SCADA, DCIM, and Energy Management Systems, and contribute to proposals and architectural work. You will handle software deployment, testing, and on-site activities, while mitigating risks and driving standardisation within the System Integration Services team. Your work will directly impact multi-country projects, customer satisfaction, and the efficiency of engineering processes. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Support pre-sales by defining technical scope for software solutions (EPMS, SCADA, DCIM, Energy Management Systems)
• Contribute to budgetary and binding proposals, including architecture, topology drawings, BOMs, schedules, and solution descriptions
• Produce, review, and validate engineering documentation per requirements and Eaton standards
• Support software deployment and testing, including on-site when required
• Collaborate with Project Management and Sales to manage scope changes and mitigate technical risks
• Coordinate with Eaton technical teams and third-party partners to deliver project outputs
• Handle escalated Level 3 software support within the area of responsibility
• Deliver technical presentations and support customer meetings, solution promotion, and training
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation of engineering processes and tools in System Integration Services
• Participate in ongoing professional development including safety and technical training
• Travel as required for customer meetings and site visits
Responsabilidades
• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Management, Automation, or related discipline
• Several years of hands-on engineering experience with power management systems, ideally in data centre or critical infrastructure environments
• Working knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and EPMS/DCIM solutions
• Experience with power system automation software and energy or infrastructure management systems
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, xpzdshu network infrastructure, IEDs, and control logic (advantage)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with professional working proficiency in English
• Structured, solution-oriented approach to technical issues
• Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional project teams
• Good prioritisation and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• High integrity, accountability, and proactive mindset
• Strong safety awareness and ability to stop unsafe activities when required
