**As our new Engineering Manager,** you will secure the engineering of new RCT products, new variants and customer adaptions with attention to cost-effective solutions. You will work closely with the product management and sales team to develop specifications for the next generation of RCT products. You will be a key player in our RCT competence center, defining specifications for specific products and setting the strategy for the product line. You will have a unique opportunity for professional and personal development in this position. Furthermore, your other areas of responsibility will be:
- Working with Project Management Office to plan and communicate confident project schedules, which the development team will commit to
- Driving continuous improvement of engineering methods to constantly raise the bar for our capabilities
- Providing valuable critical feedback on concepts and ideas
- Securing that we keep to schedules with confident solutions
- Leading and developing team members to meet shared goals
- Controlling the department budget and expenses within projects
**Background & Skills**:
**To be successful in this position**, you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Informatics, etc. and are experienced working with mechatronic design as well as with developing product specifications with the customers. You have a strong understanding of business in a integral industrial supply chain and a proven track record with successful project management. Finally, you have advanced skills in CAE and CAD, preferably Altium, and you are familiar with quality tools like PPAP and FMEA. We are looking for a skilled and strong communicating person to lead a group of competent and engaged engineers. You need to have ambition and skill for leading an Engineering team.
