Are you committed to health, safety, and the environment? At Vestas, we are in search of an HSE Manager who aspires to enhance safety and sustainability in a factory setting.
You will be the person in charge of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) in the factory, guiding and supporting the implementation of safe and sustainable practices, managing changes, new product introductions, and legal compliance in the factory.
Responsibilities
* Create local HSE documentation (risk assessments, emergency response plans, customer‑specific procedures, etc.).
* Oversee contractors/subcontractors (including mobilization/demobilization, post‑work assessments, and audits).
* Deliver basic safety training as per local legal requirements and define training needs.
* Support Operations in incident and hazardous observation investigations and root cause analysis.
* Conduct site inspections and safety walks.
* Contribute to the development of a "Zero Incident Culture".
* Provide support on QSE (Quality, Safety & Environment) matters at the country level.
* Participate in tender processes (prepare QSE documentation, review contracts from an HSE perspective).
* Assist with organizational and administrative team tasks.
* Perform and follow up on internal audits at both local and regional levels (SU/SBU).
* Develop and help implement procedures and consultation processes.
What We’re Looking For
* University degree in HSE or a related field.
* High level of English (spoken and written).
* Knowledge of Spanish HSE legislation.
* Around 5 years of experience in similar roles.
