Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Location: This position can be based in Madrid or Barcelona
Head of Commercial, Spain

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving the successful launch and sustained growth of Rezdiffra in their assigned region. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the RSM will lead, coach, and develop a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) to maximize product uptake, build long-term relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and execute local sales strategies in alignment with national priorities.
Translate national and global commercial strategies into clear, actionable regional sales plans.
Deliver sales targets through effective territory planning, resource allocation, and execution excellence.
Conduct regular field visits, joint calls, and performance reviews to strengthen capabilities and customer engagement.
Ensure field teams deliver consistent, high-quality, and compliant customer interactions.
Work closely with Market Access to align regional field activities with access priorities.
Monitor sales performance, activity metrics, and KPIs, adjusting plans as needed to exceed objectives.
Ensure optimal use of CRM and reporting tools for territory management and customer insights.
Manage regional budgets responsibly and in line with company objectives.
Act as a key member of the commercial leadership community, sharing best practices and supporting national initiatives.
Uphold Madrigal's Code of Conduct and Ethics, as well as all local pharmaceutical regulations.

Significant experience in pharmaceutical sales leadership, ideally in specialty care or hospital-based therapeutic areas.
Proven track record of managing first-line sales teams and driving successful product launches.
Strong understanding of the local healthcare environment, treatment pathways, and payer landscape.
Minimum 7 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 2–3 years in a sales management role.
Strong knowledge of CRM systems, Key Account Planning, and business intelligence tools.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
