Job Description
The Site Human Resources Manager at medmix Spain S.L. will play a key role in executing and improving local HR matters for our site in Valencia (+/- 300 FTE). Responsible for all personnel processes of medmix Spain S.L. as well as their continuous improvement. This role is part of the Management Team in Valencia and will collaborate with the Group HR department to drive global medmix HR initiatives and processes where applicable.
Leadership tasks
* Direct management, leadership, and professional development of the HR team in Valencia
* Provide strategic and operational guidance to support the overall goals of the local HR department (e.g., cost efficiency, service quality, social responsibility, legal compliance)
* Be part of the Valencia Management Team
Functional tasks
* Employee Relations and Engagement: Provide operational and strategic guidance and support to line managers and employees on complex personnel and employment law matters.
* Manage high-stakes conflict resolution for managers and employees, ensuring equitable outcomes.
* Oversee disciplinary cases, including negotiations, warnings, and terminations, with a focus on minimizing organizational risk.
* Support employees during critical times of long-term illness or accidents, ensuring their well-being and reintegration.
Talent Management and Compensation
* Lead the evaluation and grading of positions to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness according to global standards.
* Conduct market analysis to ensure competitiveness in employee compensation and benefits.
* Drive workforce planning and execute the annual salary review process.
* Oversee payroll and benefits administration for accuracy and compliance.
Learning and Development
* Plan and monitor employee development programs, tracking progress and alignment with career paths.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive training catalog.
Employee transition
* Lead planning and execution of contract terminations, ensuring legal compliance and minimal disruption.
* Conduct exit interviews for insights and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with management to create supportive reference letters.
Additional tasks
* Lead and collaborate on strategic HR projects to promote organizational growth and efficiency.
* Monitor and report HR KPIs to support decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, occupational safety, health, and fire regulations.
Qualifications
Required qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role within manufacturing and matrix organizations
* Higher education in Business, Economics, or Human Resources
* Excellent knowledge of Spanish labor law and regulations
* Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written
