Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Managing Director to lead our entity in Spain into it's next phase of growth and innovation. The adecuado candidate will have deep industry expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence and strategic expansion. Full P&L; responsibilities for standalone manufacturing and logistics operation in a unionized environment. Able to navigate complexity through a matrix organization to engage and support operational deliver and growth.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & GrowthDefine and execute the long-term strategy aligned with scalable and sustainable growth.Monitor competitive trends to ensure effective positioning in sustainable packaging solutions and manufacturing processes.Leadership & InfluenceCreate organizational and cultural alignment across teams to foster ownership and accountability.Build a cultural alignment and ownership across the organization.Financial AcumenDrive revenue growth and cost optimization to achieve financial targets.Manage the full P&L;, ensuring ownership of key performance metrics (EBITDA and some others)Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Commercial ExecutionEstablish clear KPIs and performance frameworks to measure commercial effectiveness and revenue growth.Align commercial strategy with market opportunities and client needs to ensure sustainable business growth.Communication & Stakeholder ManagementReport strategic and financial updates to the Board.Maintain and strengthen relationships with unions, clients, suppliers, regulators, and investors.Represent the organization externallyOperational ExcellenceDrive a culture of operational excellence and innovation across all business functions.Oversee daily operations, including production, supply chain, quality control, and logistics.Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Core Competencies and Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.Strong understanding of packaging technologies, materials, and sustainability trends.
Work Experience
Previous experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, or equivalent senior leadership role.Proven success leading growth and transformation in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial environments.
Technical SkillsCertifcation, licenses and registration.
Familiarity with ERP systems and digital transformation initiatives.Strong financial acumen and comfort managing full P&L; ownership.
