As we prepare for The Ocean Race Atlantic 2026 and The Ocean Race 2027, we are strengthening our Guest Experience programme to deliver world‐class hospitality and premium stakeholder engagement across all host cities. We are now seeking a proactive and commercially minded Guest Experience Booking & Sales Manager to support the growth, promotion, and delivery of our Sailors Terrace hospitality programme.Guest Experience Concept At The Ocean Race, the guest experience begins long before race day. Every interaction — from initial enquiry to post‐event follow‐up — should reflect excellence, professionalism, and care.The Sailors Terrace venue serves as the hub for all VIP stakeholder hospitality within the Ocean Live Park in each stopover. It hosts premium guest experiences, private partner events, and our flagship Guest On Board (GOB) Programme.The Guest Experience Booking & Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales across all Guest Experience products while ensuring the seamless booking, allocation, and coordination of the Guest On Board programme and Sailors Terrace hospitality. The role ensures that every guest interaction reflects exceptional care and attention, delivering premium experiences that exceed expectations.Your Role Working closely with the Head of Guest Experience, you will be responsible for the sales strategy, booking management, and commercial performance of all activity within the Sailors Terrace.You will lead the promotion, packaging, and sale of guest experience products, ensuring revenue targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of guest care and stakeholder engagement.This role combines strong commercial drive with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will manage guest communications and booking processes, ensuring seamless coordination across private partner events, hospitality experiences, and the Guest On Board Programme.You will report directly to the Head of Guest Experience and collaborate closely with the rest of departments to ensure alignment and successful execution.Key Responsibilities Sales & Commercial Strategy Develop, adapt, and strategically promote Guest Experience packages.Execute all sales and booking operations for the Sailors Terrace.Build and actively develop a strong pipeline of new prospects, identifying and targeting new audiences to expand The Ocean Race Guest Experience portfolio beyond existing stakeholders.Drive revenue generation through proactive stakeholder engagement and sales follow‐up.Manage budgets, track sales performance, and ensure accurate financial oversight.Support pricing strategy and inventory management in collaboration with the Head of Guest Experience.Lead the Stakeholder Guest On Board Programme.Liaise closely with Commercial Relationship Account Managers, Race Team Representatives, and the Race Director.Coordinate Guest RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) logistics as required.Manage GOB guest lists, allocations, confirmations, and communications.Coordinate the GOB photo bank with Team On Board Reporters.Oversee invitations, confirmations, guest briefings, and surveys.Ensure accurate and timely booking administration.Maintain meticulous records of guest attendance and stakeholder allocation.Support post‐event follow‐up and reporting.Operational Delivery & Event Support Support the Head of Guest Experience in the successful pre‐planning and onsite delivery of all Sailors Terrace activities.Supervise the welcome desk and ensure a smooth guest arrival experience.Communicate key guest attendance and updates to internal stakeholders.Provide hands‐on support during race days to ensure seamless delivery of purchased activities.Sustainability & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to The Ocean Race sustainability policies and best practices.Support responsible event delivery aligned with environmental commitments.What We Offer The opportunity to contribute to a globally recognised sporting event and premium hospitality programme.A fast‐paced, international environment with strong commercial exposure.Collaboration with passionate and driven colleagues committed to excellence.Experience & Commercial Acumen Demonstrated experience in sales, budget management, and financial oversight.Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.Experience in VIP experience sales, premium hospitality, or B2B event sales is a distinct advantage.Communication & Stakeholder Management Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiation and deal‐closing capabilities.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.Professional and confident presence when interacting with partners and VIP guests.Organisation & Operational Excellence Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.Strong team player with a positive, proactive mindset.Must relocate or be willing to relocate to Alicante, Spain.Must be willing and able to travel internationally during race periods.EU national or ability to obtain necessary EU working permits.Commitment to the full contract period (May 2026 – July 2027).How to Apply Send your CV and a cover letter in English.
