Finance Data Analyst
Multinational company in the food and beverage sector is looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join its regional Finance team. The role will support Finance, Controlling and Commercial stakeholders by improving the use of data for reporting, performance analysis, compliance monitoring and decision-making across different markets.
The person will work with financial and operational data related to sales, margins, pricing, costs, working capital, forecasting and tax-relevant information. The role will combine financial analysis, fiscal understanding and data capabilities, contributing to the automation of recurring reports and the development of more efficient analytical tools.
Responsibilities will include:
* Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytical tools for Finance and business teams.
* Analyse financial and commercial performance, identifying trends, deviations and business opportunities.
* Support monthly closing, forecasting and business review processes through reliable data analysis.
* Work with financial, fiscal and operational datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency and traceability.
* Automate recurring reports and improve reporting workflows using tools such as SQL, Python or similar.
* Translate Finance, Controlling and Tax-related requirements into practical data solutions.
* Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Sales, Supply Chain and IT teams in international projects.
* Support data quality, reporting standardisation and process improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to the adoption of self-service analytics and digital finance tools across the organisation.
We would expect from you:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or similar roles.
* Good understanding of financial and fiscal processes such as reporting, budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, cost control, working capital, VAT or indirect tax.
* Proven experience with SQL, Python and BI tools,
* Experience working with ERP, BI, reporting or business information systems.
* Ability to work with large datasets and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
* Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to communicate insights clearly.
* Experience in multinational, FMCG, food, beverage or manufacturing environments would be highly valued.
* Very good English, written and spoken.
