Location: Barcelona - must be able to travel on a regular basis to hotels in Spain, the UK, Netherlands and France.

Salary: 45K Euro + Bonus 10%

Job Description

This role will report into the Head of Sales and work as part of the Sales team to work on Corporate Sales, Group Sales & Sales Administration.

1. Corporate Sales :
* They will be responsible for the overall achievement and delivery of the sales for the region and cross selling other regions. They will maximizing sales through structured sales planning and action to achieve/exceed budgeted targets in all revenue areas, by introducing clients and arranging show rounds at properties, selling all hotels and ensuring high levels of customer service.
* They will visit Hotels as required to generate new business.
* They will manage client requirements in relation to business bookers, local negotiated rate and global negotiated agreements, travel programmes and RFP’s to offer a one stop shop.
* Further they will be providing proactive sales, ensuring deadlines and submissions are met, networking events and live or virtual appointments as well as the delivery of new direct and pipeline business in line with hotels business needs and budgeted sales.

1. Group Sales:
* They will manage the group reservations process ensuring that all group enquiries are picked up and dealt with in a professional and timely manner, converting enquires into reservations against set targets.
* This person will administer and manage the entire group reservation process for all bookings from the point of enquiry, booking onto the system through to stay and follow up.
* Further they will communicate with bookers, both during and post enquiry, to support conversion and foster relationships.
* They will also conduct repeat booking calls, as well as calls to lost, refused, and lapsed bookers to secure repeat business and early bookings.
* In addition they will manage third party group booking platform relationships.

1. Sales Administration
* They will support the Head of Sales to cultivate new client partnerships for easyHotel owned estate thus growing incremental rooms revenue and expanding our distribution channels.
* Further they will undertakes general admin support for local and global accounts, keeps records, works with distribution and 3rd parties to ensure accounts are on sale, bookable and acts as a follow up if needed.

Requirements

This person should have:

* Experience of hotel sales being highly guest focussed with a passion for great service and a drive for guest satisfaction.
* Be able to proactively deliver revenue from B2B and B2C clients and local partners into the business, representing the brand in the local market.
* They must take ownership of ongoing sales activity for the region, supporting with other regions, using their local knowledge and networking prowess to develop profitable and sustainable business.
* They will be target focussed, with a strong commercial awareness, you should be excited by achieving challenging results yet, comfortable in a front line role facing the public.
* A strong communicator with a can-do attitude is a must.
* The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is motivated to succeed and actively overcomes any obstacles, to find win-win solutions for the guest. They will have the ability to demonstrate skills in multi-tasking, time management and accountability for decisions is also required to be successful in this role.
* They are looking for someone is competent when using digital sales tools such as Lanyon, Apaleo etc.
