This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. **Duties**:

- You will use test systems to test and evaluate electronic equipment pertaining to weapons systems and related equipment.
- You will conduct electrical engineering studies to assess the feasibility of the development, testing, or repair of ship electrical systems.
- You will interact with engineers and technicians to discuss test set-up, approach and data collection instrumentation to ensure test event requirements are met.
- You will interface with personnel (e.g., management, technical representatives, customers, contractors, vendors) to discuss technical issues supporting warfighter system operations.
- You will resolve urgent system deficiencies to correct mission degrading casualties (CASREPS).
- You will perform all phases of troubleshooting, installation, operation, testing and maintenance for electronic equipment and antenna systems to ensure compliance with maintenance and material management standards.
- You will conduct material condition and functional assessments on complex electronic equipment.
- You will conduct radar collimation alignment verification and adjustments on radar antennas.

**Requirements**:
**Conditions of employment**:

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position requires that the incumbent obtain and maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification via command sponsored CPR training and annual refresher training (offered during work hours).

**Qualifications**:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Troubleshooting, repairing, and configuring Aegis MK99 Fire Control Systems and their interfaces;
2) Solving problems affecting the Aegis MK99 Fire Control Systems with mechanical, electrical, electronic, and other engineering disciplines;
3) Providing technical assistance for mission degrading Casualty Reports (CASREP); and
4) Providing technical services to include inspecting, repairing, and providing training on Aegis equipment and systems (e.g.MK-99 Fire Control System, SPG-62 Antenna System, MK82 Director System, Operational Readiness Test System (ORTS), BMD Kill Assessment Systems (KAS).
