**Senior Accounting Assistant**
**Role Purpose**:
This role supports the finance team by managing day-to-day accounting tasks. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and contributes to the smooth operation of the department. The position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
**Key Accountability**:
- Oversee and manage accounting processes, including:
- Invoicing (ES/EU/Extra-EU).
- Processing debit/credit card expenses.
- Payments (Tax, Salary Suppliers)
- Bank reconciliations.
- Employee expense records.
**Working Experience & Qualification**:
- Technical degree in Business Administration (Accounting).
- Solid understanding of general accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, and VAT regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
**Skills, Knowledge & Requirements**:
- Valid work permit for Spain.
- High precision, reliability, and ability to meet objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Proactive and detail-oriented.
- Must reside near Barcelona-El Prat Airport.
**Work Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday.
- Possibility of remote work after 6 months in the company.
