He/she designs solutions and services taking care that the technical enablers are properly carried out. He/she has a solid background to design software, hardware, network or any IT solution that gives the best business results.
This is not a purely technical SA role. The Platform Train works with all 3 EU Operations, and the SA must get involved in many topics. This is a challenge, but also an opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their career.
Key Objectives:
* Define, Plan, Prioritise and drive the technical and architectural vision for the Rating Squad within the Train.
* Define, Plan and prioritise the technical backlog of the Rating Squad within the Train.
* Work with the main stakeholders to ensure technical solutions provide customer value and return on investment / revenue.
* Lead and promote technical design guidelines and best practices for all technical work.
* Promote and look for efficiencies to improve quality and solution selection.
* Enable epics definition and support delivery for the Train roadmap.
* Ensures adherence to Security and Governance requirements.
* Ensure alignment with the Admiral Europe IT strategy.
* Act as a reference person for the tech part of ML Delivery in the EU.
Other Task & Responsibilities:
* Constantly look to optimize the development teams through efficiencies.
* Promote an agile mindset every day.
* Focus on relentless improvement.
* Optimize the DevOps pipeline.
* Work closely with other architects to ensure there is a holistic approach to solutions design.
* Promote Built-in quality and continuous improvement.
* Support the Product Manager to understand technical concepts and benefits of technical initiatives, supporting prioritization.
* Work with the Product Manager to introduce innovative solutions which benefit the customer.
Requirements:
Must have requirements:
* You have a good all-round knowledge of technical strategies and systems
* Knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Delivery
* You are a strategic and analytical thinker
* You have a strong knowledge of architecture patterns
* You have a strong knowledge on AWS
* You have a strong knowledge of APIs in general (design patterns, API First approach, etc)
* You can simplify complex scenarios / technical issues and communicate them in a simple way.
* You are able to inspire and lead people to be their best; you lead by example!
* You can coach technical teams to develop and grow
* You have an Agile mind-set and you are open to new ideas and creative ways to work
* You enjoy solving technical problems in a creative way
* You are an excellent communicator and you show respect to your peers
* You have good English language proficiency
* You are able to work with stakeholders across multiple teams, trains and countries
