Senior Outsourcing Concept Artist – Fully Remote
We are looking for a talented Senior Outsourcing Concept Artist with a focus on Character Design who will specialize in creating Skins and Cosmetics across characters, props, and environments.
Responsibilities
* Create compelling pitches and rough concepts for individual cosmetics and campaigns that align the game's vision, including characters, environments, and props.
* Stay informed about visual trends in gaming and pop culture to generate fresh, engaging ideas that capture players' interest.
* Provide feedback and guide other concept artists and outsourcing teams to ensure consistency with the project's art direction and visual style.
* Collaborate between Art, Narrative, and Design departments to develop concept designs that look great and translate well into gameplay and animation.
* Produce 2D exploration sketches, mood boards, and storyboards to communicate ideas effectively.
Qualifications
* Passionate about designing environments and bringing characters to life to create great player experiences.
* Experience working with external vendors and giving constructive feedback.
* Experience designing main characters, props, and environments in games.
* Experience working on live‑ops games with high‑volume content.
* Ability to iterate quickly on visual ideas.
* Self‑motivated and curious to dive deep into new subject matter.
* Strong understanding of anatomy, creature, and character design.
* Illustration skills and deep understanding of composition, color theory, values, form, shape language, and silhouette.
