Job Description
You lead end-to-end execution of industrial automation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. You coordinate cross-functional teams and act as the main point of contact between Lear and the client throughout the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned projects from mechanical pre-project phase through installation and handover.
- Plan project execution and timelines in coordination with technical sales and stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, automation, purchasing, and assembly.
- Allocate and organize workshop, assembly, and automation resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation designs to ensure technical and customer requirements are met.
- Oversee machine assembly and on-site installation, resolving technical issues and ensuring quality standards.
- Manage project financials, including cost control, budget tracking, and approval of labor hours.
- Act as the primary liaison with customers, managing communication, changes, and warranty-period support.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
- 3–5+ years of experience as a project manager or in automation, quality, or related customer-facing roles.
- Strong technical background in mechanics, electricity, robotics, or industrial automation.
- Proven experience in project cost management, budgeting, and financial control.
- Professional communication skills in Spanish and English, with strong leadership and negotiation ability.
