I am exclusively supporting an international services company in the search for an Account Manager – Public Sector, to drive commercial development within major public sector clients. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing business relationships with key public sector stakeholders in Brussels and Wallonia.
You will focus on generating new business through cross-selling and up-selling, while building long-term partnerships within the public domain.
What you will be doing:
* Develop and strengthen strategic relationships within the public sector
* Initiate and maintain long-term collaborations with new institutions through a proactive approach
* Identify new opportunities and drive growth via cross-selling
* Collaborate with our tender team to prepare compelling responses to public procurement bids
* Manage your activities, leads, pipeline, and opportunities using our CRM system
* Negotiate effectively in a highly competitive market
* Understand the unique dynamics of the public sector and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our approach
Your profile:
* Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in B2B account management
* Previous experience working with or within the public sector is a strong asset
* You are fully bilingual: Dutch–French or French–Dutch
* You enjoy advising, inspiring, persuading, and setting clear priorities
* You are energetic, enthusiastic, results-driven, communicative, assertive, and empathetic
* You are confident in negotiations and possess strong interpersonal and listening skills
