Metrica USA, part of the Metrica Consulting Group, is seeking a Senior IT Systems & Platform Lead to join a long-term strategic transformation programme within a highly regulated enterprise environment.
This is a high-ownership leadership role responsible for the end-to-end strategy, evolution, and performance of a mission-critical digital platform supporting organisational learning and data-driven decision-making.
The role combines platform leadership, technical depth, stakeholder influence, and vendor governance, ensuring the continuous development of a scalable, reliable, and user-centred system used across global programmes.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will act as the strategic and technical owner of the platform, responsible for defining its roadmap, driving improvements, and ensuring alignment between business needs, user experience, and system architecture.
This role operates at the intersection of technology, product thinking, and enterprise delivery, requiring strong judgement, structured decision-making, and the ability to influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
Requirements
Must have:
* Extensive experience in IT Systems Leadership, Platform Ownership, or Senior Technical Product/Delivery roles.
* Strong understanding of enterprise system architecture, APIs, integrations, and backend platforms (e.G., microservices environments).
* Proven ability to lead end-to-end platform lifecycle management, including strategy, development coordination, and operational governance.
* Experience working in agile delivery environments, including backlog ownership, sprint planning, and release governance.
* Strong capability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business, technical, and external vendor teams.
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex user and business needs into clear technical and delivery priorities.
* Strong analytical mindset, with experience using data and user insights to drive platform evolution and decision-making.
* Experience ensuring system reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement in production environments.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to operate confidently across technical and non-technical audiences.

* Experience in financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
* Exposure to cloud ecosystems (AWS / Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment governance.
* Experience managing complex vendor ecosystems and external development partners.
* Understanding of data platforms, CRM systems, or large-scale enterprise applications.
* Knowledge of digital governance, security, and data protection frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end ownership of the CRMC platform.
* Define, maintain, and evolve the platform roadmap aligned with organisational and user needs.
* Lead structured analysis of system performance, user behaviour, and feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
* Oversee full delivery lifecycle management, including backlog prioritisation, sprint governance, testing, and release planning.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure sound technical design, integration quality, and scalable architecture decisions.
* Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
* Ensure platform stability, security, usability, and performance across production environments.
* Lead vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring delivery quality, accountability, and commercial alignment.
* Manage platform governance, including data protection, access control, and system compliance.
* Drive continuous innovation and improvement across platform functionality and user experience.
