We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT/OT Support Specialist to join our team onsite in Zaragoza, Spain. This role requires hands-on support for both IT and OT systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will act as a critical bridge between operational technology and enterprise IT, ensuring uninterrupted operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
? IT Support
- Break/fix and service support for thin clients, IPCs, handhelds, and lab devices
- Printer support (core and enhanced)
- Local application troubleshooting and support
- Backup and restore operations for lab/manufacturing environments
- Software upgrade and patching coordination
- Onsite hands-and-feet support for global support teams
️ OT Support
- Troubleshoot automation and production/quality system issues
- Replace/swap OT IT equipment (PCs, network devices, printers)
- Support PLCs, SCADA systems, historian and production databases
- Apply OT software patches and support engineering projects
- Execute data backups and disaster recovery procedures
? Security & Compliance
- Support IT deviations, CAPA, and change controls
- Execute CSV tasks (incident/change/user management)
- Maintain GxP compliance and documentation standards
- Participate in audits and training compliance reviews
? Monitoring & Incident Management
- Track and analyze incidents through ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
- Maintain OT CMDB and asset inventory
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years in IT/OT support within regulated industries (5+ for senior profiles)
- Strong experience with:
- Industrial IT hardware (thin clients, IPCs, etc.)
- SCADA, PLCs, lab/manufacturing systems
- CSV, GxP, Quality Management Systems
- Backup, DR, and ITIL processes
- Familiar with tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, Active Directory, Azure, SQL Server
- Fluent in English and Spanish/Dutch
- Willing to work onsite with option for on-call rotation (24/7)
- Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than three months
