Sector Highlights
Energy
Transmission & Distribution – With the growing demand for renewable energy, you’ll help ensure clean energy reaches homes, businesses, and even international markets through interconnectors to Europe. You’ll be directly involved in the design of critical infrastructure that supports the transmission of low‑carbon energy.
Thermal Generation – Support the evolution of thermal energy assets to meet modern demands with efficiency and sustainability. You’ll help optimise performance, reduce emissions, and ensure operational excellence across diverse technologies. As part of our teams, you will work closely with our experts to provide our clients high‑value technical support through all phases of development.
Transport
Bridges and Civil Structures – Join our Bridges and Civil Structures teams and contribute to innovative projects ranging from small bespoke designs to major global infrastructure. You’ll work on sustainable bridge design, advanced structural analysis, and emerging technologies, while learning from industry leaders and helping shape the future of infrastructure.
Geotechnical Engineering – Join our global Geotechnics Practice, and you’ll be working alongside over 600 ground engineering professionals. You'll gain hands‑on experience, and your work will span desk studies, ground investigations, digital data modelling, and geotechnical design. You’ll be contributing to innovative, sustainable solutions across a wide range of specialisms including foundations, slopes, earthworks, and environmental geotechnics.
Tunnels – Join our Tunnels team and become part of a welcoming, supportive environment that prioritises your growth. You’ll work on diverse tunnelling projects in our transport sector, with opportunities to contribute to broader infrastructure initiatives. Alongside gaining strong technical experience, you’ll also develop skills in project and design management, supported by a knowledgeable team.
Water
Water Engineering – Designing Resilient Infrastructure – Join our Water Division, a centre of excellence tackling climate change, ageing infrastructure, and population growth. You’ll contribute to safe, sustainable water systems for generations to come. You will be involved in projects to design pipelines, water and wastewater treatment facilities through feasibility, outline, and detailed stages.
Candidate Specification
We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates who want to make a real difference. To be eligible, you need less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements) and a bachelor’s or master’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or be expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:
* Civil Engineering
* Structural Engineering
* Geotechnical Engineering
For some opportunities, a master’s degree is essential – this is reflected in the application form.
Candidates must be able to speak fluent Spanish and English.
