What will you do?
As a Production Order Supervisor you will be responsible for the design of complex, order-specific low-voltage switchgear compartments. The role includes the preparation of scaled and manufacturing‑ready arrangement, assembly and layout drawings based on functional and constructive specifications, using Engineering Base (EB).
Key Responsibilities:
* Design of low‑voltage switchgear compartments in accordance with technical and functional requirements.
* Creation and modification of templates or custom compartments.
* Preparation and updating of arrangement, detail, and assembly drawings.
* Generation of views and sections, and performance of plausibility checks (e.g., sheet metal technology considerations).
* Processing of design changes.
* Derivation of follow‑up documentation for manufacturing within EB.
* Transfer of relevant data to SAP.
What do you need to succeed?
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. A higher technical vocational qualification (advanced technician level) may also be accepted depending on experience.
* Proven experience in the design of electrical switchgear systems, particularly low‑voltage assemblies.
* Experience in product design or detailed engineering within an industrial environment.
* Experience in engineering change management processes.
* Experience in technical coordination of design tasks is considered an advantage.
* Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools, preferably Engineering Base (EB) or equivalent systems.
* Strong ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings.
* Solid knowledge of dimensional analysis and tolerance evaluation.
* Familiarity with sheet metal design and manufacturing technologies.
* Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
* Ability to generate technical lists and manufacturing documentation.
