Regional Business Development Manager
Location: ESP-Mataró (Barcelona)
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, optimizing commercial efficiency, ensuring alignment in pricing and sales policies, and implementing strategic projects across Southwestern Europe, Africa & Middle East. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to foster synergies among stakeholders to ensure sustainable expansion and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Development:
* Identify and develop new market opportunities within hospitals, pharmacies, and nursing homes in line with Business Divisions.
* Build and manage relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
1. Project Implementation & Management:
* Lead planning and execution of business development initiatives for timely and cost-effective results.
* Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, sales, Business Divisions) for seamless project execution.
* Monitor KPIs and optimize processes for better outcomes.
2. Commercial Efficiency & Sales Optimization:
* Develop strategies to enhance sales performance and profitability.
* Implement Commercial Efficiency tools regionally in collaboration with the CommEx department.
* Ensure successful product launches in coordination with Countries and Business Divisions.
* Optimize pricing, distribution, and customer engagement strategies.
* Use data analytics for decision-making and operational improvements.
3. Continuous Improvement & Synergy Creation:
* Identify operational and commercial improvement areas aligned with company goals.
* Foster collaboration across business units, regions, and partners to maximize efficiency and innovation.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning by sharing best practices across markets.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in business development or commercial roles, preferably in healthcare or sanitary materials sectors.
* Strong project management skills with a proven track record.
* Ability to drive sales strategies and improve commercial efficiency.
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and business environments.
* Proficiency in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, Arabic) are advantageous.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
