Robert Walters is a leading education and travel company dedicated to personal and professional growth across Europe. With offices worldwide and based in Barcelona, we are looking for an accountable and focused FP&A; Analyst to support our IT and Global Headquarters cost management.
Responsibilities
- Provide management with analysis and insights regarding the performance of IT and Global HQ cost areas.
- Prepare budgets and latest estimates for IT and Global HQ.
- Produce and analyse monthly P&L; results, collaborating with relevant teams to understand performance drivers.
- Manage monthly accruals and cost allocations across marketing, entities, brands, and in various local currencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Support FP&A; activities through sales analysis and ad‑hoc financial modelling.
- Contribute to decision‑making by delivering well‑founded recommendations.
- Perform ad‑hoc analyses as required or proactively initiated.
Qualifications & Expertise
- At least 3 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Experience in IT business partnering is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to translate financial data into clear insights for non‑finance stakeholders.
- High proficiency in working with large datasets and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with an analytical and process‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent customer‑service approach and strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure in dynamic and changing environments.
- High level of initiative, self‑motivation, and drive.
- Ability to prioritise, plan, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Quick learner with the ability to apply new knowledge rapidly.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
