The candidate will be welcomed within the Vendor Management unit, a transversal area within Telefónica Global Solutions responsible for managing end-to-end relationships with partners and providers. This includes economic management, strategic discussions, operational support, and collaboration with business units.
Mission
As a Vendor Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for developing strategy, engagement, managing the cost of sale budget, and achieving economic targets for your assigned vendors. You will manage vendors from regions such as APAC and Eastern Europe, based in Madrid.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships with assigned vendors.
* Own the cost of sale budget and control efficiencies.
* Develop and execute efficiency plans.
* Engage in transversal activities with key customers in your region, including developing new products, exploring new business opportunities, and quality assurance.
* Support communication between other areas within Telefónica Global Solutions and vendors to ensure smooth operations for our customers.
* Create and maintain action plans covering strategic, economic, and operational activities for each vendor.
* Assist the Vendor Strategy & Agreements Unit in negotiating existing vendor agreements and onboarding new vendors.
* Monitor business evolution, including new demand and cancellations.
* Contribute to the development of processes and tools.

Qualifications, Training & Experience
* University Degree (Engineering, Telecoms, etc.).
* Approximately 6 years of experience in telecommunications or vendor management.
* High proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
* In-depth knowledge of the global telecommunications industry.
* Availability to travel.
* Data analysis skills are advantageous.
