BUNGE has an exciting opportunity available for a Analyst OCVC. In this role plays a critical part in Trade Administration and Trade Support, focusing on daily Positions & P&L reporting for VC Commodities. This position involves meticulous data reconciliation, in-depth analysis, and close collaboration with commercial, trading, execution, logistics, and finance teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and a clear understanding of P&L drivers.

Some of the Analyst OCVC responsibilities are:
Trade Administration / Trade Support (Daily Positions & P&L)
* Produce accurate and reliable daily VC Commodity Positions & P&L reports by:
* Updating and reconciling new cash/flat activities and trades with the commercial team.
* Reconciling freight positions (including MTM) against data from the freight department and commercial team.
* Reconciling futures/options positions against futures statements and with the commercial team.
* Tracking and reconciling FX exposure and applications against accounting records and with the commercial team.
* Coordinating with trading, execution, and logistics teams on vessel execution, reflecting impacts in the Daily P&L.
* Monitoring pricing and confirming details with contracts, execution, and traders, including tracking changes for accuracy across all systems.
* Reconciling and publishing the Daily Position & P&L.
* Sending trade slips to contract administration for Intercompany (I/Co) sales originating from Geneva.
* Processing interoffice futures transfers for Intercompany (I/Co) sales originating from Geneva.
* Consolidate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to meet reporting requirements.
* Prepare and explain daily P&L changes, including detailed analysis of the main drivers of the daily results.
* Provide information, assistance, and insightful analysis to the commercial team.
* Optimize Excel-based reports to reduce routine tasks, minimize human error, and improve production speed.
* Manage ad hoc reports, projects, and perform other duties as requested.
Pre-Load Execution
* Provide, monitor, and cross-check with traders, operations, and contracts teams to ensure consistency of any operational or contractual changes and their impacts.
Extra Costs / Bad Debt
* Review accrual reports, extra costs, and bad debt reports.
* Follow up and align with commercial owners and finance departments to understand the drivers and financial P&L impacts for reconciliation purposes.
Closing the Books
* Collect, review, and confirm month-end inputs required for financial closing, including prices, freight rates, base locations, volumes, etc.
* Reconcile monthly results with Accounting, covering MTM, prices, execution, extra costs, etc.
* Liaise across functions to identify and resolve discrepancies during the month-end closing process.
Results Analysis
* Conduct margin analysis to identify the main buckets and drivers of the margin structure.
* Understand and explain the drivers of both structural and trading components of the margin.
We are looking for different skills / experience:
* Good working knowledge of SAP.
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in another language is an asset.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deal with complex problems involving non-standardized situations.
* University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a control function, preferably within the commodity trading industry.
* Strong analytical skills and business acumen; a good understanding of commodity trading and mark-to-market (MTM) principles is a significant plus.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
