People Business Partner – Overview
We're looking for a dynamic People Business Partner to play a key role in shaping our people strategy and driving business success for our colleagues in Iberia. This is a hybrid opportunity which requires 3 days a week in our Madrid office.
What will I be doing?
Collaborate with business leaders and drive strategic HR initiatives that support our organizational goals. Work closely with leaders to understand department challenges and provide proactive HR solutions that enhance business performance. Play a critical role in talent management, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, retention, and career development. Use expertise in employee relations to create a positive work environment, resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and coaching on workplace issues.
As a key partner in change management, support teams through restructures, culture shifts, and other transformations. Lead learning and development initiatives, identify training needs, and implement programs that align employee skills with business objectives. Drive employee engagement through surveys, feedback collection, and initiatives that boost motivation and retention.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations, communicate guidelines, and use data-driven insights to track HR metrics, analyse trends, and inform decisions that contribute to business success.
Fostering the safety culture by leading by example.
Following established safety procedures and reporting potential hazards promptly to maintain a secure workplace.
Participating in safety training sessions and adhering to preventive guidelines to minimize risks.
What are we looking for?
Strong knowledge of Portuguese labour law and experience supporting colleagues in Portugal.
At least significant experience in HR as a People Business Partner, with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's or HR certification is a plus).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to analyse data, and make informed decisions.
Expertise in HRIS systems, performance management tools, and other HR software; strong organizational and project management skills.
Business acumen, leadership influence, and a passion for employee development and organizational growth.
