We need a UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, compliant, and engaging web applications that manage connected access control systems. You will help shape a responsive, cloud-hosted IoT platform that enables users to monitor and control automatic doors and access points remotely, in compliance with IEC60839 and related security standards.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct user research and journey mapping related to access control and building security management.Design scalable, responsive web interfaces for desktop and tablet devices.Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, user flows, and prototypes using tools like Figma.Extend and apply existing design systems and UI libraries, ensuring consistency with brand and accessibility standards.Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to define interfaces reflecting system health, alerts, and user control.Perform usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback and analytics.Ensure designs meet IEC60839 functional expectations, including logging, door control, and auditability.Design for real-time, cloud-hosted IoT environments, handling edge cases and connection issues.Document UX decisions clearly for collaboration and participate in agile processes.Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in UX, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.5+ years designing web applications, preferably for B2B SaaS or IoT.Experience with Figma.Understanding of REST APIs, event-driven UI, and real-time UX.Knowledge of user authentication, role-based access, and activity auditing from a UX perspective.Experience designing for cloud applications focusing on latency, security, and observability.Applications from people with disability certificates are welcome.What do we offer?
