Job Description
Location: Madrid or South of Spain
Field Service Engineer GC, GCMS, HPLC, LSMS
Responsibilities
1. Deliver all Service activities including installation, repairs, maintenance, validation, depot repair, and hotline support for GC, GCMS, HPLC, LSMS, and Proteomics products to ensure:
* Customer satisfaction and loyalty
* High first-time fix rates and low repair times
* Minimal repeated calls
1. Contribute to Service targets related to bookings, revenue, profit, and overhead costs following internal processes and rules.
2. Perform all activities in compliance with internal and customer regulations.
3. Provide responsive phone support, diagnostics, and on-site services to exceed customer expectations, promoting contract products (80%).
4. Maintain professional relationships with customers, escalate issues as needed, and adhere to ethical business conduct.
5. Manage company assets such as vehicles, tools, and software responsibly (5%).
6. Coordinate with dispatch, team leaders, and other partners to optimize work schedules (5%).
7. Accurately and promptly report all activities, including service and expense reports (5%).
8. Align activities at customer sites with TMO and communicate important customer information to relevant departments (5%).
Minimum Requirements
* Strong problem-solving and PC skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills across all levels and regions
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
* Interpersonal, self-motivational, and negotiating skills
* Willingness to travel within the region and across Europe and the US for training and calls
* Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria
* Valid driving license
* Willingness to travel within the region and internationally as required
* Good command of English
