We are looking for a high-octane, sales-oriented leader who thrives on "the hunt" and possesses the professional maturity to command a room of C-suite stakeholders. You are not just a manager; you are a commercial athlete who balances a "zero-to-one" entrepreneurial grit with the sophistication required to scale a multi-national pod.
Drive Revenue Growth:
Lead the strategic commercial direction for Spain and Italy, ensuring the team meets and exceeds aggressive quota targets.
Team Leadership & Scaling:
Manage and upskill a pod of Sales Account Executives, while leading the charge on hiring to expand our regional footprint.
Cultural Architect:
Serve as the most senior leader on the ground in Barcelona, taking full ownership of the office culture, driving engagement, and building a high-performance environment.
Direct Deal Execution:
Actively participate in the sales cycle for enterprise logos, leveraging your network to close complex, high-value contracts.
Operational Accountability:
Ensure total individual and team accountability; treat the team's targets as your own, managing performance rigorously and addressing non-performance early.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Hiring Manager, Solutions Engineering, and Account Management to ensure technical and commercial alignment.
Regional Advocacy:
Act as the face of in Southern Europe, dispelling legacy market perceptions and building a "best-in-class" brand reputation.
Role Overview | Desired Background, Core Competencies
Extensive Sales Leadership:
Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing sales teams within a fast-paced technology or fintech environment.
Market Expertise:
A deep, active network within the Spanish commercial landscape is essential; experience in Italy or other Southern European markets is a significant plus.
Linguistic Proficiency:
Native-level fluency in Spanish is a must, coupled with excellent English communication skills for global collaboration.
The "Hunter" Mentality:
80% of your focus will be commercial; you must be hungry, ambitious, and motivated by the win.
Operational Rigor:
Ability to manage the 20% "admin" of leadership—cultivating culture, enforcing accountability, and maintaining reporting excellence.
Domain Knowledge:
Previous experience in Payments is highly preferred; however, a proven ability to negotiate and close "Big Deals" in other complex sectors will be considered. xpzdshu

Location and On-site Requirements:
