We are hiring a Captain for a privately owned Pilatus PC-12 NG, Malta-registered, operated under EASA private rules across Europe.
This is a long term role for a mature pilot. The PC-12 is forgiving to fly; what keeps a private operation safe is judgment, temperament and the discipline to say "no go" when it matters. We will trade raw hours for that kind of decision making any day.
Two profiles fit this role particularly well:
* Retired or semi-retired airline captains who want to keep flying with a flexible, well structured arrangement
* Experienced corporate pilots and senior flight instructors with a long track record of conservative airmanship
Beyond flying, the Captain will own the day to day operation of the aircraft: scheduling with the principal, maintenance coordination with the CAMO, supplier relationships (handling, hangar, insurance) and monthly reporting to the owner. You will be the single point of contact between the owner and everything aircraft related.
What we are looking for
* EASA ATPL or CPL with IR, Class 1 medical, ICAO English 5 or 6
* 3,000+ total hours, 1,500+ PIC
* PC-12 type rating preferred. Current SET rating or recent turboprop / business jet experience also considered; rating sponsorship available for the right candidate
* Comfortable single pilot IFR across Europe
* Discreet, polished, owner facing; excellent manners and presentation
* Spanish or Portuguese a strong plus
* Right to live and work in the EU or Malta
Base: Cascais, Spain or Malta preferred. Other EU locations considered for the right candidate.
Compensation: competitive and adapted to the candidate. Full time salary, retainer plus day rate, or freelance day rate for semi-retired captains. Recurrent training fully covered.
Not for you if your goal is to build hours toward an airline cockpit. We are looking for a long term relationship, not a stepping stone.
Referrals welcome and appreciated. If you know the right person, send them this post or write to us.
