School Administrator Coordinator & Teacher (50/50 Role)
This hybrid role blends teaching and school administration in a new, community‑oriented 1 through 8th grade international school grounded in Scandinavian values such as student‑centered learning, well‑being, equality, and mixed‑age collaboration. The adecuado candidate is a flexible, multilingual educator with international and growth mindsets, experience in small or start‑up schools, and hybrid learning. Candidates should be based in Spain.
Teaching Responsibilities (50%)
Teach Math, English, Spanish, Sciences, and/or Digital Literacy in mixed‑age, mixed‑skill classrooms.
Plan and deliver project‑based learning (PBL) units that foster inquiry, creativity, and real‑world application.
Support learners of English and Spanish as second languages through effective differentiation and language‑acquisition strategies.
Implement and help guide colleagues in the IPC and IMYC frameworks.
Create a calm, inclusive learning environment that supports diverse abilities and backgrounds.
Use formative assessment to guide instruction and provide meaningful feedback.
Maintain open, supportive communication with families and participate in collaborative planning and school initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities (50%)
Support daily school operations and coordination across staff, students, and families.
Contribute to student well‑being, conflict resolution, and restorative practices.
Work closely with the school leader on planning and implementing school‑wide initiatives, and step in when the school leader is away.
Manage to internal and external communication, including newsletters and parent updates.
Assist with scheduling, timetables, and substitute coordination.
Support and help deliver teacher training and professional development.
Maintain accurate records, attendance, and administrative documentation.
Coordinate events, assemblies, and community activities.
Support policy implementation aligned with Scandinavian values.
Contribute to school start‑up tasks, growth planning, and continuous improvement.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Teaching experience in Math, English, Spanish, Sciences, and/or Digital Literacy.
Experience with learning platforms like Khans Academy, IXL, Canva, Google Classroom.
Strong understanding of project‑based learning and differentiation
Experience supporting English and Spanish language learners.
Familiarity with IPC and IMYC.
Experience in school start‑up or small‑school environments.
Experience in teacher training or mentoring.
Strong organizational and operational skills
International mindset and experience in multicultural school communities.
