You will support the development and deployment of sustainability initiatives across AXA International Markets’ geographies, contributing to the team’s work on sustainable underwriting, climate risk analysis, and ESG governance. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a global insurer’s sustainability transformation.
Key tasks include:
- Support research and analysis on climate, energy transition, and biodiversity-related risks in insurance portfolios.
- Assist in preparing materials and recommendations for sustainability initiatives.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities with local entities, including coordination, synthesis of local sustainability strategies, and tracking progress.
- Work with internal stakeholders (Group Sustainability, local sustainability leads) to support the ESG performance and sustainability maturity monitoring.
- Draft presentations, internal briefs, and strategic documents for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Analyze and report on sustainability trends and best practices relevant to AXA International Markets to inform strategic decision-making and enhance local initiatives.
Background and experience:
- Master’s student in Sustainability, Environmental Policy, Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a very good command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Strong interest for sustainability topics in a corporate/insurance context.
- Curious, proactive, and able to adapt to a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
