Role
The purpose of this role is to close new sales, and thereby help accelerate the growth of the Seequent business in a particular region in new and/or under-penetrated markets in a focused and disciplined way, where we believe there is high growth potential.
This is about driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, expanding the customer base for our software solutions, and converting new business opportunities.
This position focuses on identifying high-potential prospects, understanding their business challenges, and positioning our software solutions as strategic tools for transformation. The New Sales Representative plays a key role in expanding market presence, accelerating customer acquisition, building the sales pipeline, contributing to the growth of Seequent across the region.
The ideal candidate is results driven, has excellent commercial and interpersonal skills and proactive mindset.
Duties and responsibilities Business Growth
* Deliver closed won sales.
* Prospect and qualify new leads, identify and engage in new business opportunities from multiple channels e.G. inbound MQLs, prospecting outbound calls, emails, social media including LinkedIn, other networking and industry events.
* Build and leverage a pipeline of at least 3X sales target.
* Qualify opportunities using sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC and BANT.
* Ability to maximize the potential opportunity be it short, medium, or long term in nature.
* Understand client challenges and position our software solutions as strategic tools for growth.
* Deliver tailored product presentations that highlight value and impact.
* Accurate forecasting of deals in your pipeline each month and quarter, keeping information accurate and valid for opportunity reviews with management, maintaining accurate CRM pipeline and records updated.
* Negotiate and close deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product updates.
Collaboration
* Assisting in establishing and ensuring the company culture is focused on customer service, responsiveness, and team building, guided by a coaching and supportive style.
* Collaborate and work closely with all necessary cross-functional teams—including BDMs, sales teams, CSS teams, marketing, 3rd parties including associates, government network, product teams and others as may be appropriate.
* Maintaining constructive and positive working relationships both internally and externally.
* Contribute to a team culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and mutual support.
Qualifications
* Fluent in Italian, Spanish, English as mandatory. French, German are a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in B2B software or SaaS sales.
* Proven success in lead generation and closing new businesses.
* Strong understanding of software sales cycles.
* Knowledgeable in sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC and sales methodologies such as Insight Selling, Challenger Sale and SPIN.
* Excellent forecasting skills, being able to keep on top of a large and diverse pipeline of opportunities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team and Comfortable with remote collaboration
* Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales automation tools, especially Salesforce
* Passionate about building new business and comfortable with ambiguity.
* Resilient, able to play the long game, adaptable & pragmatic, self-confident.
* Local language and cultural understanding (as appropriate), local presence in the specific geography.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Innovative, open-to and able to work in a fast growing, fast paced and constantly changing environment.
* Proactively identify ways to improve processes.
Working conditions
Travel to attend conferences, events, and potential client sites will be required.
