The multinational pharmaceutical company ESTEVE is looking for an EHS Manager Spain role in the SQE area.

Main Role
Lead, be accountable and responsible for Spain EHS programs and teams, ensuring the EHS Management System is effectively implemented and continuously improving for the Esteve Quimica activities at Spain.
Support Esteve industrial activities in achieving continuous improvement regarding health, safety and environmental performance and EHS culture. Influence, propose and inform about EHS to the executive management to make decision, ensuring compliance with the Esteve and EHS legal requirements.
Responsabilities
* Disseminate and implement the EHS ESTEVE Policy and the Sustainability
* Strategy of ESTEVE in the ESTEVE Quimica Spain centres.
* Provide advice and support to Esteve Química spanish sites ensuring proactive approach to EHS compliance, aiding continuous improvement.
* Collaborate closely with all the R&D and industrial sites, engineering team, and all teams involved in EHS compliance enabling access to improved EHS practices.
* Participate and manage of EHS subjects directly interfacing with external auditors, legal HS auditors, EHS authorities’ inspections, ISO auditors, insurance partners, external experts and liaise with them on subjects relating to EHS compliance.
* Participate in the design of the EHS management system, identify risks and EHS opportunities, propose changes and develop the implementation strategy of the Prevention and Environment Procedures at ESTEVE Quimica sites.
* Lead the EHS team of Esteve Quimica Spanish sites, assuring adequate knowledge and skills, through development plans and aligned actions/decisions.
* Take responsibility for the management of environmental authorizations, substantial and nonsubstantive changes and management of EHS legal requirements of the Esteve Quimica Spain.
* Unify and reapply best practices and lessons learned within the EHS management system and promote continuous improvement of the EHS system in Esteve Quimica spanish centres.
* Define and plan Esteve Quimica staff training and information on EHS.
* Ensure the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of ESTEVE’s Prevention and Environmental Management System, responding to the expectations of all stakeholders. Assure adequate KPIs are in place and meet the targets.
* Proposing, monitoring and managing the annual EHS budget for ESTEVE Quimica Spain
* Participate in leading work groups / external forums about best EHS practices.
* Promotion and compliance of the procedures related to Health, Safety and Environmentsystem, quality and GMP system, with previous training on Health,Safety and Environment, and GMP regulations.

Job Profile
Required Studies
* Bachelor's Degree in Science or technical field.
* Master's degree in H&Safety
Relevant training
* Specialization courses in Hygiene, Industrial Safety and Ergonomics in the Chemical‐ Pharmaceutical Industry.
* Specialization courses in Hygiene, Industrial Safety, Ergonomics and Psycosocial
* ISO 45001 and 14001 management courses.
* Process Safety courses in the Chemical‐Pharmaceutical industry.
* Environment related Qualification.
* Specialization courses in hazards for the organic fine chemical activities.
* Specialization courses in environmental at the Organic Fine Chemical activities.
* Leadership and team management courses.
Lenguages
* English advanced
Required Professional Experience
* Indispensable experience in similar position in Prevention and Environment departments, preferably in the pharmaceutical chemical sector.
* Experience in the fine chemicals sector.
* Experience in management of teams.
* Experience in GMP environments.
* Experience in installations with risk of explosion and/or Seveso.
* Experience in customer audits in the Chemical‐ Pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience in managing environmental authorizations, substantial and non‐ substantial changes and management of EHS legal requirements.
Relevant Experience
* Experience in Process Safety.
* Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Trackwise, SAP, Opentext.
* Software for the Management of Occupational Risk Assessment and Environment topics.
