Job Description
The Tools Development Engineer will join the Jigs&Tools department within the Manufacturing Engineering area at the Airbus Cádiz site.
Core Responsibilities
* Requirements Management: Lead the analysis, assessment, and formal acceptance of Jigs and Tools (J&T) requests.
* Technical Leadership: Act as the Technical Project Leader for J&T, serving as the primary engineering interface for external suppliers.
* Supplier Governance: Drive the technical down‑selection process and provide rigorous end‑to‑end follow‑up on supplier performance.
* Industrial Documentation: Execute the creation of Multi‑Functional Team (MFT) documentation and ensure the integrity of Design and Manufacturing Data Sets through formal validation.
* Quality Assurance: Orchestrate the Manufacturing Acceptance process in coordination with Plant/FAL Quality Assurance to ensure all tooling meets Airbus standards.
* Lifecycle Strategy: Define technical requirements for maintenance, training, recertification, and re‑calibration to ensure long‑term tool reliability.
* Operational Integration: Manage the seamless handover of tooling to Operations, ensuring all technical requirements are met for production.
* Advanced Engineering: Design innovative J&T solutions for new developments, R&T (Research & Technology) projects, and strategic industrial transfers.
Mandatory Requirement
Extensive professional experience specifically as a Jigs and Tools Engineer is essential for this role.
