We are looking for a Freight, Bill, and Audit Supervisor (Accounts Payable Supervisor).
Job Description
The FBA Supervisor is responsible for providing accurate financial and management reporting, including Freight, Bill, Audit & Payment data analysis. This role enhances DHL's commercial position by adding value, managing risks, and fulfilling contractual obligations.
The primary focus is to:
* Ensure processes are in place to maintain adherence and control over the balance sheet and working capital on passthrough
* Drive process improvements
* Act as a business partner to supported contracts
* Create and develop forecasts, budgets, and month-end trading reports
Accountabilities
* Act as the finance lead for the site, presenting to customers during period reviews and supporting annual budgets and forecasts
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at finance and operational levels
* Manage a small team to meet service level agreements and KPIs through operational excellence and continuous improvement
* Ensure cost management and compliance, with proper segregation of duties
* Coordinate and compile trading results, including forecasting and period-end reporting, ensuring explainability of forecast vs. actual results
* Serve as the first point of contact for all contract finance questions
* Challenge and maximize EBIT & EAC performance, working with contract management to implement improvement plans
* Ensure compliance with statutory and DHL policies, with regular monitoring of key areas
* Financial monitoring of operational and transport services provided on an open-book basis to the customer
Requirements
* People management experience
* Proficiency in English
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Attention to detail and high-level overview capabilities
* Proven ability to build relationships outside the finance function
* Experience in business partnering within a sector environment
* Part-qualified or qualified accountant
