The opportunity
As part of the EY GDS Core Business Services (CBS) team in Málaga, you will join a diverse and high-performing group supporting the firm’s operations. Within Finance, and integrated into the Accounts Payable function, you will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across financial processes, while actively contributing to the function’s transformation towards automation and data‑driven operations.
Your key responsibilities
end-to-end processing of supplier invoices
in workflow tools and SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
provisions, accruals and reclassifications
Accounts Payable reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
vendor master data
maintenance and updates in coordination with central teams
month-end and year-end closing activities
support, ensuring timely delivery
employee expenses
review and processing, including re-invoicing to clients where applicable
Preparation and submission of
regular financial reports
to central finance teams
Support
external and internal audits, as well as tax inspections

To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum
6 months of experience
in an accounting role, ideally within Accounts Payable
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Vocational training in Finance and Administration
Solid understanding of
Local GAAP, tax frameworks and regulatory requirements
Experience working with
ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Ideally, you’ll also have
Good knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, to support process automation and workflow optimization
