About the role:
This technical engineering role provides expertise and support to Sales, based on extensive technical knowledge and experience in the Industrial market. It supports field-based technical service needs and plays a key role in developing value propositions for new customer sales and preventing loss of existing business.
Key Accountabilities:
* Demonstrate safety leadership and ensure HSSE standards are maintained
* Support internal and external customers as an industrial application expert
* Assist sales teams in acquiring new business
* Provide technical training to partners
* Work with sales to deliver effective solutions for customer issues
* Collaborate with Technology and Marketing on new product development and field feedback
* Engage with Global Product Managers for market insights and needs
* Document case studies highlighting benefits of Castrol products and services
* Conduct field testing of new and reformulated products
* Participate in projects supporting business objectives and strategies
* Mentor and train less experienced salespeople and engineers
* Analyze Used Oil Analysis reports for decision-making
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical, Chemical, Lubrication, Manufacturing, etc.)
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of industrial technical experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and related tools
* Expertise in Metalworking fluids and High-Performance Lubricants
* Strong value selling and social skills
* Knowledge of sustainability practices (energy savings, water reuse, net zero) preferred
* Skilled in structured problem-solving techniques
