PProduct Manager (Taste Modulation Solutions) for US market /ppJob Location: Barcelona (hybrid model) /ppWho are we? /ppHTBA is a science-based global leader in the manufacturing and commercialization of citrus flavonoids and active forms of vitamin B12 for the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and animal nutrition sectors. Plus, with ideation centers located in Spain and at its North American operations center in Ohio, the company is well-positioned to understand and quickly respond to global end-user consumer demand. /ppAre you ready to be unstoppable? /ppPURPOSE /ppGlobal support for Marketing and Commercial department, playing a crucial role in developing and launching successful Taste Modulation Solutions with focus in US market. /ppHTBA has ambitious goals to grow in this business unit. Strategy, portfolio, and tactics shall be defined in conjunction with the Commercial, RD and Marketing departments. /ppFUNCTIONS, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES /pp1.- Market Research and Needs Identification: /pulliAnalyze external and internal data to understand customer needs, consumer preferences, and market trends /liliConduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities (SWOT) /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and validate market requirements /liliUnderstand the science and regulatory framework (Studies, IP, regulations) /li /ulp2.- Product Portfolio Strategy: /pulliDevelop a comprehensive product portfolio aligned with business goals /liliPrioritize product features based on market demand, feasibility, and strategic fit /liliUnderstanding and building Source of Volume scenarios; new markets, existing and new customers /liliPrepare Product Presentation based on market trends and consumer insights /liliClear and targeted portfolio – Focusing Benefit vs Ingredient molecule /liliClose collaboration with RD and Application Lab for new product developments and improvements in current portfolio /liliSupport New Product Launch Plan/Execution (support project management) /liliDefine product roadmaps and release schedules, managing the process to achieve desired timelines /li /ulp3.- Positioning and Branding Strategy: /pulliDevelop deep product and science knowledge /liliDefine target customer segments and tailor messaging accordingly. /liliCraft compelling product positioning statements, subjected to be reviewed by advisors (health and nutrition functional claims) /liliPromote and market HTBA’s RD / Application lab (ideation lab), so it is seen as a core added value by customers /liliCollaborate with other colleagues from the marketing department to develop effective branding and promotional materials /li /ulp4.- Unique Selling Proposition (USP): /pulliIdentify the unique value proposition of each product solution /liliClearly articulate the benefits that differentiate HTBA ́s products from competitors /liliEnsure that the USP resonates with the targeted audience /liliLeverage Regulatory Science added values to differentiate from competition /li /ulp5.- Product Development and Launch - Planning and Execution: /pulliManage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch /liliCoordinate product launches, including target customers, and pricing strategy based on cost in use /liliContent development and elaboration of a content calendar that will be used to communicate content along the year: PR campaigns, Congresses, Tradeshows, HTBA’ channels (website, social media) /liliDevelop Product Launch presentation aligned with business strategy and insights /li /ulp6.- Perform Monitoring and Optimization: /pulliSelect and monitor product performance metrics (e.g., sales, market share, customer feedback) /liliMarketing Budget proactive management /liliContinuously assess product success and iterate based on market and customer’s feedback /liliCollaborate with sales teams to address any challenges or opportunities /liliWork closely with external agencies for all campaigns – analytics/testing optimization. /liliParticipate and support key customer engagement and meetings /liliIdentification of brand awareness actions in tradeshows and congresses to position HTBA’s ingredients and solutions in customer’s mindset /li /ulp7.- Demonstrate cultural values and behaviors to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders: /pulliCollaboration is key to navigating communication across cultures, locations and functions /liliKey values: Agility, Teamwork/Collaboration, Audacity, Creativity, Innovation and Passion /li /ulpSKILLS AND JOB REQUIREMENT /pulliBachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred: Relevant areas - Marketing, Communication, and Digital tools /liliMinimum 5+ years of marketing experience in Taste Modulation /liliStrategic orientation and creativity, problem solving /liliLanguage: English (bilingual) and Spanish /liliProficient in Word, Excel, PPT, Adobe /liliNavigate multiple platforms (CRM, Digital, Social) /liliSelf-motivated and positive attitude /liliValid Passport /li /ulpTRAVEL: Up to 30% for trade shows, corporate meetings, customer engagement (International and Local) /p
