Role Overview As part of our broader expansion across Europe and the Middle East, we are currently recruiting for experienced QA/Quality Control Inspectors in several areas within Europe to conduct ongoing inspections of new and existing fibre network infrastructure and data centres.
Our QA/QC Inspectors will oversee fibre network and data centre builds (Outside Campus and Inside Campus), focusing on civil construction, cable installation, fibre splicing, and testing reviews.
Please Note: These are inspection and review roles. It does not include hands-on testing or technical installation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily monitoring and field reporting on construction contractors, covering civil construction, cable installation, fibre splicing, health and safety compliance, and testing reviews.
Prepare daily summary reports for clients and regional Project Managers.
Report any delays, disruptions, or non-compliance with client Construction Standards during daily monitoring.
Liaise effectively with project clients, site managers, and contractors.
Review client construction standards and project schedules to ensure alignment.
Adhere to project delivery schedules and QA Inspector rosters.
Attend project kick-offs, site meetings, and walk-throughs as requested by the client.
Ensure all work complies with relevant national health and safety regulations and client specifications.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Proven experience working on construction sites and/or fibre infrastructure networks.
Essential: Full clean Driving Licence.
Essential: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable: Experience with fibre network and digital infrastructure builds (OSP and Customer Premises).
Desirable: Experience with civil construction methods (e.g., trenching, directional drilling, pit installations).
Desirable: Experience in the audit and inspection industry.
Desirable: Knowledge of national regulatory compliance (including HSE and CDM Regulations) and digital infrastructure construction standards.
Desirable: Familiarity with underground utility construction methods, including HDD, plow, jack and bore, and open trench.
Desirable: Street Works (or equivalent) qualification or willingness to obtain relevant certifications.
Desirable: Familiarity with national Temporary Traffic Management requirements.
Desirable: Capable of reading permits to ensure construction is compliant (e.g., infrastructure installed within permitted easements or public motorway limits).
Desirable: Capable of assessing the validity of as-built documentation at close-out of conduit and fibre projects.
Desirable: Comfortable using online forms, tablets, and IT reporting systems.
Desirable: Willing to undergo security screening.
