Our client, an Irish Plc and global name, is recruiting for three Group Internal Auditors with language skills (Polish, French, any Nordic language) to join its consistently high-performing internal audit team. The business has a strong track record of promoting qualified accountants into Finance Manager and Financial Controller roles within the wider Group, often within 18–24 months.
Previous team members have gone on to FC and divisional FD roles in the US, UK and beyond. Everyone we have placed into this team is still with the Group, all in senior finance and commercial positions.
What you\'ll do
- Plan, execute and report on financial, operational and IT audits across the group\'s general subsidiary network
- Evaluate risk management, IT and internal controls using a risk-based approach
- Build relationships with divisional and head office management — influencing, not just reporting
- Contribute to ad hoc investigations and special projects as directed by the Audit & Compliance Committee
What we\'re looking for
- Qualified ACA or ACCA (Big 4 background strongly preferred)
- Native or professional Polish, French, or any Nordic language, speaker
- Familiarity with IT General Controls and computer-aided audit techniques
- CIA or CFE qualified, or happy to work towards it (fully supported)
- Comfortable with c.30 weeks of international travel per year, fully compensated and organised. When not travelling, you can be based remotely.
