Solution Architect
At ING we are looking for a Solution Architect to join our Team of Architecture CoE.
Key Responsibilities
* Design end-to-end technical solutions ensuring alignment with domain architecture, enterprise architecture and IT strategy.
* Refine technical solution directions and technical dependencies drafted in the Epic in coordination with the Enterprise Architect, the Domain Architect and relevant squad members and IT Chapter Lead.
* Provide knowledge, vision and structure to help find solutions to programs or complex IT environments.
* Guide squads to find the best solution according to the IT strategy and listening to tribe needs, helping on epics and features prioritization.
* Ensure that implemented solutions are aligned with the design and the standards.
* Collaborate with Domain Architect and IT and Business Chapters leads to elaborate tribe and assets roadmap.
* Help to align and resolve dependencies between squads.
* Facilitate epics slicing into features and features planning cooperating with delivery squad, maintaining close relationship with delivery counterparts.
* Align with IT Chapter Leads in the evolution and maintenance of tribe’s IT Landscape.
* Ensure solutions are aligned within Domain Architecture horizons defined.
* Maintain contact with stakeholders at all levels of the ING organization, working with them to achieve the purpose.
* Ensure maintenance systems documentation is up to date including new solutions implemented.
What We Are Looking For
* A person with a clear strategic vision of the bank and objectives of IT.
* Problem solving mindset, used to evaluate different solutions and balance between them aiming to reach the best one based on all requirements met.
* Knowledge and understanding of the technology strategy applied to the tribe assets or products.
* Working knowledge as software engineer, architect or similar position with technical background.
* High knowledge of the infrastructure and IT assets of the tribe domain.
* Skills to influence and manage stakeholders.
* Works and acts rapidly based on intuition, instead of reasoning step‑by‑step.
* Able to distinguish between important and less important details.
* Versatile and adaptable, capable of facing uncertainty, acquiring knowledge across several disciplines and updating it as necessary.
* Assertive person, able to communicate clearly and directly but appropriately.
