Technical Planner Overhead Transmission Lines
Company OverviewGridlines Engineering S.L., based in Torremolinos, Spain, provides support services for planning and engineering in the high and extra-high voltage sector. We collaborate with partners and customers to facilitate the European energy transition through the transmission of electricity via overhead lines and cables. Our services include technical project management, engineering, planning, surveying, visualization, and construction-ready implementation planning.
Responsibilities
Planning of power lines in rough and detailed phases considering topographical, environmental, and legal factors.
Handling cadastral, surveying, laser data, and coordinate systems.
Performing rope mechanics calculations for new construction and line inspections.
Preparing planning documents and developing solutions using CAD and GIS systems.
Planning for temporary work areas and creating route concepts for construction vehicles.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in geodesy, surveying, civil engineering, geography, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Understanding of cadastral data and coordinate systems.
Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, and Microsoft Office.
Structured, innovative, team-oriented, with good communication skills.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
