For our Santa Perpetua site in Spain, we are looking for our future:
R&T Technical Service Leader for Rubber market (F/M)
The candidate will be responsible for providing technical solutions to our customers and support the sales & development of our specialty products in the Rubber market.
Main responsabilities:
1. Comply with QHSE standards within her/his scope.
2. Deliver Technical Service support to customer:
Promote customized Ready to Use solutions for customers
Conduct lab studies to support the approval of the products
Sales support (problem solving, claim handling…)
Write customer visit report, technical report and answer to customers
Share her/his experience with the Rubber Tech Service teams
3. Contribute to plant support through lab analyses:
Support in the management of production non-conformities (allocation of batches, participation in the root cause analysis)
Contribute to complaints solving
Validate new sources of raw material supply for RTU materials
Support operation projects (involved in MoC…)
4. Participatein innovation projects:
Identification of customer unmet needs & establish product profile
Conduct in laboratory minor modifications to existing products to provide a robust solution to customers
Participate in industrialization trials of new products
This position may require travel (mainly in Europe).
Qualifications:
5. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, or polymeric materials
6. 5 years of proven work experience in silicone industry and/or technical service in chemical industry
7. Strong customer orientation and ability to build lasting relationships
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
9. Team player with effective communication skills to work with cross-functionnal teams ( Production, Quality, Sales & Marketing, R&T…)
10. Keen interest in conducting laboratory work
11. Fluency in Spanish and English (in speaking and writing), French is a plus
