We are currently looking for an Incident Manager - Shift Leader RAN .The Incident Manager of a Radio Access Network (RAN) plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of the mobile network. Their primary responsibility is to manage and coordinate the resolution of incidents that affect the RAN infrastructure, which includes base stations (e.G., eNodeB / gNodeB), controllers (e.G., BSC, RNC), and other radio-related components.Responsibilities include :
Monitoring alarms, logs, and KPIs from RAN elements via NMS / OSS tools.Proactively detecting service-affecting and performance-degrading incidents.Utilizing automation and AI / ML tools (if available) to identify anomalies in real time.Assessing the nature, severity, and impact of incidents quickly.Classifying incidents based on priority (e.G., P1–Critical, P2–Major, etc.).Determining affected technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and geographical impact.Coordinating with field teams, RAN engineers, and core network teams to isolate and resolve issues.Escalating to vendors or higher support tiers (e.G., TAC) when needed.Communicating with stakeholders (e.G., operations center, customer care) about incident status, impact, and resolution progress.Ensuring rapid service restoration through temporary workarounds or permanent fixes.Validating resolution through monitoring and post-incident testing.Updating incident tickets and documentation accurately.Mandatory experience :
Over 3 years working in Vodafone ANOC of Portugal, with knowledge in Huawei and Ericsson technologies.J-18808-Ljbffr
